History
Olivella Abogados was established in 1960 by Francisco Olivella Snr., after taking the German baccalaureate at the Colegio Alemán de Barcelona and graduating in Law from the University of Barcelona.
On 19 August 1982, for services rendered to the Federal Republic of Germany and due to the successful efforts for and representation of the German victims of the disaster at the Los Alfaques camping ground in 1978, where Olivella Abogados also represented a good part of the French victims, Francisco Olivella Snr. was awarded the German “Bundesverdienstkreuz erster Klasse” medal for civil merit, first class, personally presented by the then President of the Federal Republic of Germany, the Honourable Karl Carstens.
1988 and 1989 saw the inclusion of Francisco Olivella Jnr. and Pedro Olivella, respectively, into the law firm as full partners. Both took the German baccalaureate at the San Alberto Magno German school in Barcelona and graduated in Law from the University of Barcelona, both, furthermore, with Masters in Finance.
1996 saw the inclusion of Susana Cid, who also holds a Masters in Finance, into the law firm as a full partner. She also took the German baccalaureate at the San Alberto Magno German school in Barcelona and graduated in Law from the University of Barcelona, also with Master in Finance.
